Private Dedicated Space
The Writer's Cabin provides a dedicated, private space for book clubs to meet. With beautiful furniture made of reclaimed wood, the cabin can comfortably hold clubs of 3-6 members. The cabin is available for book club hire between 5pm - 10pm Mon - Fri and 10am - 10pm at weekends. Wi-fi available.
Tea and Coffee Facilities
There are tea and coffee making facilities in the cabin, including a hot water urn, kettle, and a small Nespresso machine. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and hot chocolate are all provided. We also provide a beautiful cake cloche, plates, cake slice and crockery should you wish to add a slice of cake to your club!
Beautiful Location
The Writer's Cabin is located at Glebe Farm, a family friendly visitor attraction set in the picturesque village of Astbury, Cheshire.There’s something for everyone at the Farm including Alpacas, Donkeys, Ponies, Goats and more! Free entry and free parking.

New to The Writer's cabin, but growing fast, is our Free Library. See a book you'd like to read? Just take it home with you. Finished reading? Bring it back. Simple!
Friendly Community
Becoming a member of a Writer's Cabin Book Club means you are one of the crew! Meet other friendly book enthusiasts, discover new books, swap books, talk books, books, books, books! Everyone is welcome!
Free of Charge
You may have gathered that we love books but we also want to support others who do to! Whilst we can, we will endeavour to offer The Writer's Cabin Book Clubs free of charge. This will include Cabin Hire and tea and coffee facilities.
